For those of you that are INSURED in the STATE GROUP LIFE INSURANCE
PROGRAM, it is important you learn of your first date of participation
in the BASIC portion of the life insurance program prior to selecting
a retirement date.
You must be insured at point of retirement and have participated
in the BASIC life insurance program for at least 10 years during
your employment years to receive the continued EMPLOYER PAID benefit
as a retired State employee. .
